Salon Policies

You're Service Guarantee
We will make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at “Justine’s Pretty Parlor”. In the event that you are not completely satisfied; you must let us know within 72 hours of your service. We are committed to making any needed corrections if there was a fault on our end, not something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed). ALL services are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please keep in mind that using box color or going from darker to lighter, tones may result in more than one service to achieve the desired results.

 

Fashion Color Policy

Fashion colors cannot be guaranteed, especially pastel tones. These are not permanent colors.

 

24 Hour Cancellation Policy
In order to respect the time of both our guests and the staff, you must notify us of a cancellation or reschedule no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment. If an appointment is rescheduled 2 times in a row, you may be placed on a walk-in basis only. New clients that make an appointment and cancel or no call no show will not be rescheduled. Failure to give notice of 24 hours for reschedule or a cancellation will result in a 50% cost of services fee that must be paid in full before you make another appointment.

 

Latecomer Policy
Please be respectful of our time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will need to reschedule your appointment and will incur a late cancellation fee of 50% of your scheduled services which must be paid in full before your next appointment at “Justine’s Pretty Parlor.”
 

No Show Policy
In order to respect our time, if an appointment is marked as a no show, you will be subject to a non-refundable 50% no show fee and possibly serviced on a walk-in only basis. This fee must be paid in full before you are able to make another appointment at “Justine’s Pretty Parlor.” Please be advised, if you no show on a re-do reservation, I will not schedule a new appointment free of charge.

 

Salon Appointments
Salon appointments may be booked by calling or texting 814-299-9757. Appointments may also be booked using “Justine’s Pretty Parlor” Facebook messenger. All salon appointments MUST be confirmed no later than 24 hours before your scheduled time. Failure to confirm your appoint using our automated system will result in your appointment being canceled. If you are having trouble confirming your appointment, please reach out to us. If calls or messages are sent between 8pm-10am, we will call or text back within 72 hours.

 

Children Policy
I am concerned with you and your children’s safety at “Justine’s Pretty Parlor”. Children not being serviced will not be allowed in the salon unsupervised. Unsupervised children in the salon will result in your service being stopped, and you being charged an non-refundable cancellation fee and your appointment will be rescheduled. In emergency situations, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. All children are charged the same full service prices as adults. If a child under the age of 18 is receiving a service, a consent form must be signed prior to the service performed.

 

Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior, is intoxicated or in their state of health that may influence the effects of the service.

 

Product Return Policy

We do not provide refunds of any kind, however if the product is faulty then we will exchange it within 7 days of purchasing. Used products will not be accepted. I am not liable for any damages in case of allergic reaction. Electrical appliances sold by “Justine’s Pretty Parlor” are un-returnable.
 

Methods of Payment
“Justine’s Pretty Parlor” accepts Square, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, Salon Gift cards and Cash only. Checks will be acceptable only if the client is deemed “reliable”. To be deemed reliable, you must be a client for 1+ years with regular salon visits. 50% non-returnable deposits will be required for full day book outs, and services such as hair extension services, color corrections and fashion colors. New clients having any service done may also be requested to pay a deposit 50% of their services. Existing clients with a no show or cancellation history will also be required to pay the non-refundable deposit for any booking. Bounced checks will be charged a $50 return fee.

 

Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates are valid for up to one year from the date or purchase and must be present at the time of service. Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable. “Justine’s Pretty Parlor” is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. ALL gift certificates are non-refundable, and are not redeemable for cash value. Gift certificates for “Justine’s Pretty Parlor are valid for any service or product available.

Pricing Policy
“Justine’s Pretty Parlor” pricing will vary and for more accurate pricing, please request a complimentary in salon consultation. There will be an added price for density, length and extra product used.

 

General Wellness
Safety of my clients is utmost important. If you are suffering from any contagious infection, you MUST reschedule your appointment until clear of illness or infection.

Allergies
For your comfort and safety, please notify me if you have allergies, any physical issues or disabilities, or are pregnant. If you are experiences any discomfort or any other symptoms during your service, you must alert us IMMEDIATELY.

Head Lice
It is against the Pennsylvania State Board’s policies to perform services on clients with head lice. If suspicion of head lice is present, or a client has been “diagnosed” with head lice, I will complete the service. I will gladly complete the service 7 days after the head lice treatment has been completed.  

 

Privacy
Information collected from the time of booking your appointment on is only used if we need to contact you, and to send text reminders. Failure to provide a phone number will result in us not booking you at "Justine's Pretty Parlor". We do not share any information provided with third-parties.
